RAO celebrates graduation of female military training course

MUSCAT ? The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) yesterday celebrated the graduation of the first female military training course in a ceremony held under the patronage of Maj Gen Mattar bin Salim al Balushi, RAO Commander.
The ceremony, which was held at the military parade field in Muaskar al Murtafa, began by saluting the chief guest.
The female graduates staged a group of skills and military infantry arts with silent drill shows and slow march accompanied by musical pieces played by RAO music band.
The chief guest then distributed awards and appreciation certificates to distinguished female graduates in various fields. The column of graduates chanted RAO anthem and chanted thrice long live His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
The graduation ceremony was attended by RAO senior officers, commissioned and non-commissioned officers and parents of the graduates. ? ONA
